Welcome to Casamar Restaurant & Hotel

Casamar began working as a hotel in 1955, when Joan Casellas and Maria Balaguer, transformed a summer house of twentieth century princes into a small hotel with 5 rooms. The tourist boom of the 60s makes it expand to 20 rooms.

It is in the year 2000 when, Quim and María, children of the owners, begin to direct and manage, both the hotel and the restaurant, giving it a new dimension.

The Casamar Restaurant & Hotel is an establishment where you can find quality dishes and a modern signature cuisine with personality that has led them to hold a Michelin star, uninterruptedly, for 10 years.

Lovers of the Empordà, the diner will be able to taste landscapes of this territory through their dishes, since their philosophy is based on giving priority to local products and wines, forming part of the collective La Cuina del Empordanet and the Slow Food movement.

Very nice breakfast but the selection of Teas can be improved and the juice could be more freshly squeezed. Small but important things as the whole visit was so nice???? we didn’t try lunch so the evaluation is just in the middle but the right answer is N/A

Hem estat acollits mole bé i molt cómodes. Gràcies per donar-nos habita ió que veièssim una mica el mar! ja que deieu que no us quedaven. Aquesta vegada hem dormit a l'habitació 222, aneu en compte que l'aigua de l'aixeta es surt una mica per sota ( vem o lidar dir-vos-ho. Fins la propera!

Por poner algún pero, la tele de la habitación queda pequeña y está colocada un poco baja. Para verla bien desde la cama tendría que estar más arriba. En cuanto a la bañera, estaría bien cambiar las cortinas por mampara. Lo demás perfecto. Gracias.

Hemos pasado unos días fantásticos, destacar la amabilidad de todo el personal y las ganas de que nuestros días sean ideales. Nos hemos alojado en la habitación individual cn cama de matrimonio, una.habitacion pequeñita pero con encanto. Sólo destacar que sería interesante una reforma en el baño ya que la bañera es muy pequeña pegada a la pica y podrías tener un accidente al entrar o salir de ella ya que es muy alta. Comentar también que las almohadas no son demasiado cómodas. Por todo lo demás nos ha encantado alojarnos en su hotel y sin duda volveremos. Gracias por hacernos una estancia tan agradable

The company HOTEL CASAMAR SL has carried out a 24.3 kWp photovoltaic installation under the financing aid program for energy saving improvements in facilities and equipment and for circular economy projects in establishments providing tourist accommodation services in Catalonia, within the framework of the European Recovery Plan.

The aid received from the European Union amounted to €18,373.56.

This installation implies an energy saving of 33,410.00 kWh per year, as well as a reduction of 8 tons of CO2 per year.
